Meet Mandy
I grew up with family dogs and volunteered at shelters, but it was not until I got my first dog when I really started diving into dog training for behavioral modification and advancing in obedience work. Having dealt with reactivity in my first dog when I first adopted her, I know how it feels to be stressed when going out for walks. I was determined to overcome her reactivity and the lack of communication I had with her. After giving her the fulfillment and structure she needed, she became my model dog and one of the most neutral dogs I have seen today.
Since then, I have titled my dogs in AKC CGCA/U, IGP and have competed in AKC obedience trials, and I look forward to expanding on those titles in the future specifically in IGP.
I believe that having a fully balanced and fulfilled dog is a happy dog. My goal is to help you build a relationship with your dog and to provide you, the owner with the tools and skills to succeed with your dog. I have a passion working with dogs and enjoy teaching you how to build communication between the two of you that is built on mutual trust and respect.
I am a forever student and continue to grow through shadow programs, online communities and seminars from other trainers.
